Correction: Anna Cheskis Gelman with Dr. Herbert Pardes, left, vice president of Health Sciences, and Dr. Allan Rosenfield, right, dean of the Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health. The Anna Cheskis Gelman and Murray Charles Gelman Professorship of Public Health was announced in the December 1998 issue of the Reporter. It was stated that the professorship was established by a pledge from Ms. Gelman, an instructor in public health/epidemiology. Representatives of the Mailman School of Public Health have informed the Reporter, however, that the new professorship was fully funded by Ms. Gelman and also pointed out that until 1980 Ms. Gelman was an assistant professor in public health/epidemiology.
