The Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, is a world-renowned leader and recognized authority in the scientific investigation of alternative approaches to maintaining health and treating illness.

The Rosenthal Center is a National Institutes of Health-funded specialty center, whose primary objective is to conduct innovative research in the fields of botanical medicine,
women's and minority health, and aging.

The Center is also dedicated to education, training and to providing information on botanical medicine, traditional systems of medicine (e.g., traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine, Ayurveda) and mind-body medicine.

Proceeds from this event will enable The Rosenthal Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine to continue to serve New York City, national and international communities through the development of integrative medicine programs for professionals and the public.
