Aging and Skeletel Muscle Study

- The aim of this four year research project
is to improve our understanding of how muscle changes
with age in different ethnic groups. The long term
objective of the research is to develop improved methods
of measuring muscle mass. As part of this research,
participants will undergo a series of tests aimed at
studying the amount and composition of your muscle.
- We are currently recruiting Caucasion,
African American, Hispanic, and Asian men and women over
the age of 18 years old.
- The participant's Body Mass Index must be
between 18-32 in order to qualify for this study.
- The compensation for taking
partparticipation in the study is $125.00. In addition,
each participant will receive a copy of their results.
