Weight Loss in Overweight Binge and Non-Binge Eaters

Study Description:
Study is designed to compare psychological and physiological factors between overweight subjects who either binge eat or do not, before, during, and after weight loss. Weight loss occurs over a three-month period with a formula diet that provides about 900 Calories per day. Individual weekly sessions emphasize behavior and nutritional counseling.

Inclusion Criteria:
Overweight by at least 20%, otherwise good health, men and women of ages 18-60.

Exclusion Criteria:
Conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart, gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney disease.
