Dr. Yong-woo Park is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Obesity Research
Center, Institute of Human Nutrition, Columbia University College of Physicians
& Surgeons. Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Medicine,
Sungkyunkwan University. His background training includes medicine and public
health. He received his doctorate in preventive medicine from Korea University,
his M.P.H. from School of Public Health, Seoul National University and his M.D.
from Seoul National University Medical College. He was a director of the Obesity
Clinic at the Kangbuk Samsung Hospital.
Dr. Park's main interests are:
- Measurement and evaluation of intraabdominal adipose tissue
- Ethnic differences of body composition
- Sarcopenic obesity and metabolic obesity
- Analysis of clinical trials on data related with obesity.
