CURRICULUM VITAE:
Tarek Reda, MD, MPH, (Dr.P.H. in 5/1999) is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Obesity Research Center, his background training includes medicine, and public health nutrition. He was a Research Associate at the Nutrition Institute in Cairo, and a full time member of the division of Medicine, Clinical Nutrition at the Nutrition Institute, Cairo-Egypt. His basic and main goal is the understanding of the pathophysiology of obesity, food intake regulation and thermogenesis. The increasing in weight has its pathological and psychological impact on the subjects has drawn his attention. More specifically, he is studying the hormonal regulation of obesity.
