Dr. Shankuan Zhu

Dr. Shankuan Zhu is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Obesity Research Center, Institute of Human Nutrition, Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. His background training includes medicine and public health. He was a Research Associate at Department of Public Health, Nagoya University School of Medicine, Nagoya, Japan, where he received his Ph.D. in Public Health in March 1997. Dr. Shankuan Zhu earned his MD from Medical Department, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Hangzhou, China, in 1988.

Dr. Shankuan Zhu's main interests are 1) epidemiological study of obesity, cancer, and other related diseases; 2) analysis of clinical trails data related to obesity; and 3) research searching for environmental and genetic factors that appear to influence obesity and cancer.
