Alemayehu Admasu

Alemayu Admasu, MD, is regional director of ICAP-Ethiopia's Eastern Regional Office.

Before joining ICAP, Dr. Alemayehu worked as an HIV care and treatment office at Family Health International, as a focal person and research physician for Ethio-Netherlands AIDS Research Project, and as a general practitioner for Africa Private Clinic.

Dr. Alemayehu holds a general medicine degree from Palacky University, Czechoslovakia. He has completed various trainings in emergency surgery, management of opportunistic infections, basic antiretroviral therapy (ART), rational use of opportunistic infection/antiretroviral drugs, ART program management, and tuberculosis/HIV collaborative activities.
